From breakfast radio to my new podcast Chatty Van, I've spent more than 30 years listening to people's stories — and now I'm sharing them with you.

You know the thing you wanted to be when you were a kid? I got to be it.

My life in radio started in the 90s making shows in my bedroom, progressing through hospital radio and eventually landing a weekend show on a station in Wolverhampton. In 2002, I joined Southern FM, which later became Heart Sussex. I presented all kinds of shows at the station over the years, including a four year stint on Heart Breakfast, a show we once won a Sony Radio Award for.

I still pop up on air in Sussex from time to time but my latest obsession, my podcast Chatty Van, is where I'm pouring most of my energy.
